Life is ...... interesting. (yes, I'm on early shift again!!) Bad things apparently happen, but turn out to be good things in the end, and somethings that seemed good, turn out to be bad. I don't get it!
doribore gets asked to leave her job. This on the face of it seems to be a bad thing. But, it means that she comes down to Bath to see us all a lot sooner and gets out of a job that she hates, so that's got to be a good thing. And on the flip side, when I started my current job back in February, it seemed like such a good idea. Now, have had 5 people leave, and another one on his way upstairs, it seems more and more like a bad thing everyday. I don't know.
So, what have I done since last time? Well, I almost lost Wolfgang. Hearing a liche walking towards you raising people as he goes, with only 3 or 4 people between you and him, and all of them are you are unconcious and in various stages of dying on the floor, is not a pleasant experience. Especially when you are watching the players move towards you so slowly, and can see your wife looking at you knowing that she can't do anything from where she is, and seeing the look on her face. Still, I survived, just (thanks Carabas!! Now Stormclaw's gone, do I get to take over his role?)
Other than that, worked 10 and a quarter hours straight through on tuesday, without a break, in order to get a patch tested for a customer, only for wednesday morning to turn up and the guy who was supposed to deliver it to them start shouting at me down the phone because I wouldn't divulge my own, personal username and password. My Team Leader had a go at him about it, which was really cool. It's nice when that happens. I do like my team here, it's just the company itself and upper management that leaves something to be desired. My team itself is great. We stick together, look out for each other, and always have a laugh and a joke about something to keep spirits up. I'd hate to think what it would be like if that weren't the case!!
