Jun. 6th, 2006 09:14 amSo far so good on my week of being aloneness. Ok, so cricket was crap, but that's becoming par for the course. I think the problem I'm having is that I'm not getting any training. Last year, when I did reasonably well for most of the season, I was going to nets on a wednesday night, and also bowling a fair few overs on a saturday. So far, in 3 games, I've not even reached double figures on overs bowled. That's not conducive (however you spell it) to me being able to bowl well. Annoyingly, getting over to Bath for nets is not really an option so my only other option is to find somewhere round here to go and practise, and how they would feel about me training with them only to play for someone different on a weekend is anybody's guess. I know I would find it slightly cheeky. Oh, and training round here is on a wednesday, which is the night I'm currently doing rehearsals for a show on 17th June on.
Ah well, still, there's plenty of time for training afterwards, and if I have to leave Pedigree, well then I have to leave Pedigree. If I move back to Bath, I know phone numbers of people so I could conceivably get back with them then.

doribore though. I had to do the washing up yesterday. Admittedly, I'd not done it since she went away and so it's my fault there was loads of stuff, but still. Washing up is something she does (I do most of the cooking!). I also had to clean out the cat's litter tray, and I've still got other stuffs to do round the house. Happily, I have plenty of time in which to do them. Amusingly, one the things I am missing is the gentle chiding I get from her in order to get me to actually do something! Will have to phone her later to see if she is as good at nagging down the phone as she is when she is here :-)
