Mar. 7th, 2005 11:14 pmI think I am going to owe my girlfriend an apology in the near future. My saturdays are about to removed from me by my favourite hobby. Yep, larp comes second to Cricket (although events will still come first...). Had my first practise with a new team tonight. I think I'm going to enjoy playing for them. When I was batting, I was seeing the ball really clearly and hitting the middle of the bat. When I was bowling, a good 75% of balls were in the right place. Not bad considering I haven't played for about 3 to 4 years now! Plus, my bat still seems in good nick. This is a good thing because it's a bloody good bat!
Right, I'll stop bouncing about cricket shortly as I have to put clothes away, and I'm knackered and should be in bed! Larp yesterday was also cool. It's a great shame Mortis won't make another appearance for sodding ages because I really do enjoy playing him. Happily, I managed to sign off yesterday with his forte - taking down necromancers. Shaun very nicely gave me a production line of them to play with. I got 3 and a half of them. Cat's necromancer got away from me, damn her!! Also apparently provided much amusement to players and monsters as I chased Tim and all the others could see was a pair of silhouettes running one way, and then about 15 seconds later running back the other way!
Right, clothes are calling me. Well, to be precise, my bed is calling me, but it's covered in clothes so I need to clear up.
