Oct. 3rd, 2004 09:02 pmAnd so the downer begins. This weekend went on forever. It seems like so long ago that I was leaving work on friday afternoon and starting the trek down the M4 to Guildford. Having spent Friday evening staying out of the way (and attempting to create a football team on Championship Manager), Saturday was spent at Longleat, and then watching Red Dwarf in the evening. Sunday brought larp for a very wet and cold hour, before going off to rehearse for Pirates. After that, it was home to take housemates down the pub, and then at the appropriate point, off to the station to say goodbye. Am now coming down from the weekend, and will no doubt hit the bottom soon. I'm used to this now. Doesn't make it any more fun, except that I know now that it will pass, probably in the morning when I have to go to work and think about something else.
Still, I have next week to look forward to. We have a Dori coming down again, and again the week afterwards!! She is going to be doing Amber with Elizabeth for the next two weekends, and will be seeing my show too in a couple of weeks. Then, after a possible week break (although I may go to Guildford....) we'll be off to the Healer's guild event. Quite why Wolfgang is going to a healer's guild event is yet to be determined. I think he's going soft now that he's married!! :-)
For now, I'll content myself by shooting the crap out of ships in Freelancer, and see if I can't kick arse with my newly made team in Championship Manager.
