(no subject)

On my own at work...... again. And the really annoying thing is, I can't go to sleep because what if someone comes in or the phone rings? I'll miss them, and get into trouble. Damn. Hey ho. I'll just content myself with sitting here doing nothing, and getting paid for the privelege. I haven't actuall got any work to do either. Oh, I have 15 calls to my name, 2 of which are in an "Open" status (meaning that the onus is on me to do something), but one of them is waiting for a database to be installed, and the other one I can't replicate, no matter how hard I try, so I've given up on it. It's not as if I care about it anyway! oooh, that was slightly harsh wasn't it! Ok, I do care a bit, but only because I want to know why the customer doesn't get decimals and I do.

In other news, got the weekend planned yesterday. Off to pick up a Dori on friday afternoon and drag her kicking and screaming down to Bath. When we arrive, me and my housemates will hug her and stroke her and pet her and call her Cyril. Then, on saturday the plan is to go to Longleat Safari Park (although I simply refuse to drive round the Monkey Enclosure in Felix. I don't really have a desire to pay large sums of money to get my car fixed because some bloody monkey thought my wing mirror would make a good toy).

Monday = The day after the weekend
Tuesday = The worst day of the week
Wednesday = The day before the day before the weekend
Thursday = The day before the weekend
Friday = The weekend.

Spot the general theme there? Once you get through the pain that is work on Tuesday, things only get better.
